Job Summary
We are looking for an analytical, performance-oriented Digital Marketing Strategist in SEO and SEM to drive the organic, paid, and conversational acquisition of our digital ecosystem and that of our clients.
This key role involves designing, deploying, and optimizing multichannel visibility strategies, including organic search (SEO), paid media (SEM), social platforms, and new AI-based search engines (GEO – Generative Engine Optimization).
The strategist will work closely with the web, content, analytics, UX, and AI teams to maximize the visibility, performance, and business value of digital initiatives.
Responsibilities
- SEO Strategy & Organic Search
- Define, implement, and evolve comprehensive SEO strategies.
- Conduct technical, semantic, and competitive SEO audits.
- Identify opportunities related to search intents, strategic keywords, and high-value content.
- Optimize site architecture, internal linking, HTML tags, and structured data.
- Maintain constant awareness of search engine algorithm updates.
- Identify KPIs and create statistical tracking reports.
- Collaborate with web and content teams to oversee the implementation of SEO recommendations.
Paid Digital Campaigns
- Plan, execute, and optimize campaigns on:
- Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube)
- Meta (Facebook, Instagram)
- LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, and other relevant platforms
- Manage budgets, bids, audiences, and targeting strategies.
- Analyze campaign performance.
- Produce forecasts and performance estimates for campaigns.
- Monitor campaign budgets
AI SEO & Emerging Platforms (GEO / AI SEO)
- Participate in developing GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) strategies for conversational and AI engines.
- Monitor trends in conversational, social, and generative search.
- Recommend ongoing adjustments based on platform and usage evolution.
Performance Analysis and Reporting
- Define clear, measurable, and scalable key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Build and maintain dashboards using GA4, Looker Studio, or equivalent tools.
- Analyze the conversion funnel and recommend optimizations (content, UX, campaigns).
- Measure the actual impact of SEO, SEM, and AI initiatives on business objectives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in digital marketing, communications, e-commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in SEO, SEM, or performance marketing (agency or business).
- Excellent proficiency with SEO tools (Google Search Console, SEMrush, etc.).
- Advanced experience with Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, YouTube Ads.
- Good mastery of analytical tools: GA4, Looker Studio, Google Tag Manager.
- Excellent analytical skills, rigor, and technological curiosity.
- Bilingualism in French/English (oral and written).
- Google certification (or equivalent) required or in progress.
- Legal right to work in Canada.
